The Gift

The rain is coming down outside this morning, after a long stretch of beautiful sunny weather here in Portland. Yesterday was the culmination of many months of planning and hard work: Hannah and I are now officially married! Last night we celebrated our marriage with friends and family in what will surely be remembered as one of the best evenings of my life. Rarely have I felt so thankful and such deep gratitude for the friendship and relationships in my life. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us yesterday and to those of you not able to be here: know you were in our thoughts. Life is such a gift.
